Marsh's Library, situated in St. Patrick's Close, adjacent to St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin, Ireland is a well-preserved library of the late Renaissance and early it opened to the public in it was the first public library in Ireland.
It was built to the order of Archbishop Narcissus Marsh and has a collection of o books and holdings: 80 incunabula. Introduction: The book auction has an honourable tradition in Irish cultural life.[1] The earliest Irish book auctions took place in Dublin in the late seventeenth century, run by booksellers such as William Norman, Robert Thornton and Patrick Campbell.
